Welcome to the Little Red Playhouse!
Little Red Playhouse is a private preschool dedicated to preparing children for kindergarten
and for life by cultivating a love of learning and encouraging empathic social interaction.
We operate concurrently with “La Fondation Place Coco” as a preschool based on the concept of
“reverse integration”. This means we have successfully integrated children with Autism into the general population
of our school. Our approach recognizes the need of each child to be an individual and encourages children to express
themselves through the creative arts. We offer arts and crafts, music and even a chance to cooperative write stories!
A balanced curriculum of academic and hands-on learning opportunities integrate intellectual stimulation with an
early sense of social responsibility, problem solving skills and self-reliance.
We are located at 263 Rue Percival in Montreal Ouest, next to Elizabeth Ballentyne School.
We have a range of amenities within our reach. We love being able to walk to the Montreal Ouest Children's Library,
Strathearn Park and even the Montreal Ouest skating rink! Our neighbours, Elizabeth Ballentyne
are very generously sharing their gymnasium with us!
